About Mdluli Safari Lodge
Mdluli Safari Lodge is a luxury tented lodge inside Kruger National Park. It stands on a concession between Numbi Gate and Pretoriuskop camp, at the end of a 6 km private track. The lodge has a restaurant, a bar, a spa and two pools, one of them an infinity pool. Free Wi-Fi covers the public areas, and the private parking is free. Security staff are on duty around the clock.
Location
The lodge is in the southwest of Kruger National Park. Just past Numbi Gate, a 6 km track branches off to the right and leads to the lodge. As the crow flies, Numbi Gate is 4.6 km away, and Phabeni Gate 18 km.
The nearest airport, Kruger Mpumalanga, near Nelspruit, is 25 km away as the crow flies. Paul Kruger Gate is 34 km away, Malelane Gate and Skukuza Rest Camp 42 km. Skukuza airport is 44 km away.
Rooms
You sleep in an air-conditioned luxury tent, with a private deck facing the park. Each tent has an indoor shower and an outdoor shower. You will find a seating area, a desk, a sofa bed, a fridge, a minibar and a kettle. A mosquito net, a fan and heating complete the setup.
The lodge has family units. Cribs are free up to age 2. On request, an extra bed is free for ages 3 to 6 and charged for ages 7 to 12.
Dining
The lodge serves breakfast, and its restaurant offers fine dining. In the evening, you dine outdoors, around a traditional wood fire. Menus for special diets are prepared on request.
The bar overlooks the park and the river. For a day out, the lodge prepares packed lunches.
Leisure
The lodge has two pools, open all year and to all ages. The infinity pool overlooks the park and the river, and you can watch the animals from it. The lodge also has a spa and a shared lounge with a TV.
